Patent to Conform

Compiling from Source

For you courageous souls who want to compile this from source, I've put a few things together on how you might be able to do it. This is my first open source project that is useful, and I'm not too educated about the proper releasing process. I'll do my best, however.

First, you'll need the Synthesis Toolkit (Stk) from http://ccrma.stanford.edu/software/stk/download.html. Unpack it, enter the src directory, type make it from there. That will make the libstk.a file. Put that and the header files in their appropriate locations.

You will also need Qt 4.something. I made it under 4.4, but other versions may work as well.

Now, unpack Conductor's Beat. Enter that directory, and run qmake. (make sure that it runs the Qt4 version. If you have Qt3 and 4 installed on one system, qmake may link to the Qt3 version. Run qmake with a --version flag if you're unsure. If it's 3, symlink qmake to qmake-qt4). Then do the make process. Move the binary wherever you want.
