These are the prototype designs for...whatever you want to use them for, continuing with my Concept Arts Series from Pandora's Box. Maybe I'll get them good enough for the shirt this year...I figured that a lamp would take a lot more work than a box, so I got a head start. It actually didn't take as long as I thought, and got a working lamp way too early. Now, it'll obsess me until the end of 09's marching season. Lesson Learned: Don't get a head start.

A lamp with boring background

The first lamp. The beginning. The first virgin image to behead. Baseline. Made over Christmas break instead of doing make-up work and homework.
A lamp with slightly better background and words

This one's a little busy...too many stuff. I'd like to keep the reflection of the GBHS in the lamp, but get rid of the actual floating text. The Arabic letters are supposed to say "Aladin" and "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" for two of the more well-known Arabian Nights stories. Not bad for having 8 months to go.
A very lovely version

This one that I called "lamp-good" when I made it is a little prettier. I think it's the best one, and would love for it to go on the shirt. I have no idea what the Arabic was supposed to say. I think it was "Scheherazade 2009" but I really don't remember.
